By the Beginning of the New Academic Year. The University President Sends the Educational Process Success and Creativity Elements a Message.
The University President Dr. Abdul Monem Abbas Karim congratulates the dean of faculties, teaching bodies and students, on the occasion of the new academic year on Tuesday the 21th of October 2021
In his Excellency speech, he addressed the elements of success and creativity in the educational process, saying: “greetings of Science and Knowledge in this morning of your new academic year, with which we are enlightened to the opening which is based on the efforts of our distinguished Ministry, represented by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Nabil Kasem Abdel Sahib, and the advanced cadres, to continue the educational process with confidence towards scientific sobriety. On this occasion, it is my pleasure in my name and the University Council name a message of reassurance that our university pulse with life as long as there's excellence, you are the source of it. I sincerely invite you to recall the superiority that you and I have scored over the challenges that have faced us and you in the last two years which was characterized the Corona pandemic and its collapse to be the motivation to continue teaching and learning.
I cannot fail to remind you of the importance of preserving your safety, which is of the highest value. I would also like to emphasize the importance of taking the vaccine and following all the health measures that protect you and your families from the pandemic. I am proud that the University of Diyala has become a beacon of science and knowledge and a national research center, dependent on its associates, not only in graduating students but also in providing human resources that support national transformation programmes and contribute to the service of society.
In conclusion, I would like to point out the importance of developing courses, ensuring the fulfillment of the requirements of the university calendar, and taking care of creative and talented teachers and students asking God to make it a year of science and prosperity in all of higher education, and a year of security and peace for our beloved Iraqi people.
