The Faculty of Science Holds a Panel Discussion Deals With the Water Pollution With Heavy Metal
The Faculty of Science held a panel discussion entitled (Water Pollution with Heavy Metal), which was presented by Assistant Professor Arig Ali Jarallah and Assistant lecturer Saja Khalil.
The workshop aimed at defining heavy metals, their sources, how they move to humans, and their effects on human health. These minerals are considered to be among the most dangerous pollutants, since most of them have a trait of accumulation, accumulating in aquatic creatures such as fish, birds, and plants and reaching humans by eating these foods. The workshop concluded that one of the most important environmental problems was the pollution of water by heavy metals, which affects human health.
