
President of the University of Diyala Inspects Final Examinations at the College of Basic Education
On Monday, May 5, 2025, the President of the University of Diyala, Prof. Tahseen Hussein Mubarak, accompanied by the University’s VicePresident for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Amer Mohammad Ibrahim, conducted an inspection visit to the College of Basic Education to review the progress of the final examinations for undergraduate students for the academic year 2024–2025.
Upon his arrival, the President was received by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Ayman Abdel Aoun Nazal. During the visit, Prof. Tahseen Hussein Mubarak toured the examination halls and examination committees, emphasizing adherence to the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. He also inquired about the nature and clarity of the examination questions, as well as the availability of the necessary logistical and academic support required to ensure the smooth conduct of the exams.
In addition, the University President visited the recently renovated Teacher’s Hall at the college, where he was briefed on its development process. He also reviewed the ongoing preparations for the upcoming University Conference, which is scheduled to take place on Monday, May 12, 2025.
In a related event, the President attended the defense of a master’s thesis by postgraduate student Mohammed Mu’ayyad Hamoud, a student with special needs. On this occasion, he emphasized the importance of supporting students with disabilities, affirming the University’s commitment to providing an inclusive academic environment and to addressing the needs and challenges faced by this important segment of the academic community.
