The University President participated in the celebration of Iraqi Academic Day.

On Thursday, April 10, 2025, the President of Diyala University, Professor Tahseen Hussein Mubarak, participated in the Iraqi Academic Day celebration organized by the Iraqi Academics Syndicate. The event was held in Al-Hakim Hall at the University of Baghdad.

During the celebration, Professor Tahseen Hussein Mubarak commended the initiative of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research to extend letters of appreciation to the academic staff across the Ministry. He emphasized the pivotal role played by academics in advancing scientific achievements within Iraqi universities, recognizing their dedication as a cornerstone of the nation’s academic progress.

He described the academic community as ‘beacons of knowledge and pioneers of thought,’ serving as exemplary models in times of challenge and representing the scientific voice of Iraq in international arenas. Professor Tahseen Hussein Mubarak extended his sincere gratitude for their unwavering commitment and significant contributions to the advancement of science and the service of the nation. He further wished them continued success, innovation, and excellence in their academic endeavors.
