The University President Welcomes a Member of the Iraqi Parliament

On Thursday, March 20, 2025, Professor Tahseen Hussein Mubarak, the President of the University, welcomed Salah Zini, a distinguished member of the Iraqi Parliament, to discuss opportunities for enhancing collaborative efforts between the university and the Parliament.

During the meeting, the University President expressed his appreciation for the ongoing efforts of the Iraqi Parliament in supporting and monitoring the educational process at the university. He conveyed his pleasure at receiving Mr. Salah Zini, emphasizing that his visit reflects the spirit of institutional integration between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Parliament, with the aim of advancing both academic and service excellence.

In response, Mr. Zini praised the scientific and infrastructural advancements achieved by the University of Diyala. He commended the leadership of the university, particularly Professor Tahseen Hussein Mubarak and the deans, for their dedication and efforts in elevating the university’s standing as a prominent institution of higher education.
