University President signs eight memoranda of understanding with Iranian Universities.
On Sunday, 19 January 2025, the University of Diyala signed eight memoranda of understanding with Iranian universities to foster scientific cooperation. Professor Tahseen Hussein Mubarak stated that the agreements involve prominent institutions, including Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Tarbiat Modares University, Isfahan University of Technology, Shiraz University, Hakim Sabzevari University, Al-Khwarizmi University, Shahid Beheshti University, and Kurdistan University.
These agreements aim to enhance scientific exchange across various disciplines, facilitate training programs for students and faculty members, and promote the exchange of academic expertise in scientific research. Additionally, they focus on advancing cooperation in modern technology and innovation, with an emphasis on practical applications that contribute to the development of the economic and scientific sectors. The agreements also include the establishment of scientific and technical parks at Iraqi universities.
Professor Tahseen Hussein Mubarak highlighted that the University of Diyala’s presentation on its successful collaborations with numerous Iranian universities was highly praised and earned the top ranking among all presentations delivered by the participating institutions.
