The President of Diyala University participates in a ministerial workshop on scientific publication

On Saturday, 2 February 2024, the President of the University of Diyala, Professor Tahseen Hussein Mubarak, participated in the workshop organised by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding Iraq’s research publication in global indexed journals.

Dr. Ammar Abdel Ali, Head of the Department of Scientific Affairs at Al-Qasim University, presented a lecture highlighting the achievements of Iraqi University researchers in international databases and indexing (Scopes and Clarivate) and the number of citations.

The workshop has shown the ranking of Iraqi Universities according to their research publication in the Scopes and Clarivate, including the University of Diyala.

The President of the University congratulated the university’s researchers for this research progress and achievement. Professor Tahseen Hussein Mubarak emphasised the support for the researchers and the faculty members in achieving research, especially the ones related to community service.
