The University President Meets the Middle East History and Archaeology Expert the Professor at the University of London to Expand Scientific Cooperation.
On Wednesday the 17th of November 2021, the University President Professor Dr. Abdul Monim Abbas Karim, met the Middle East History and Archaeology Expert Dr. Clrain, a Professor at the University of London, Britain, to explore ways to enhance scientific cooperation. While receiving Dr.Clrain and the delegation of the governorate Antiquities Inspectorate in his office, his excellency received said: The university presidency and council of the University are keen to receive scientific skills that can enhance our mission in the service of society.
His Excellency stressed the important role of the visiting professor in highlighting the implications and historical depth of our governorate. His excellency reviewed the composition of the university colleges and research centers, its physical facilities, and the services it provided to its request. His Excellency stressed the university will for absolute cooperation in making cooperation contracts which includes the exchange of scientific experience, the supervision of postgraduate studies, and the organization of joint events with European universities.
In turn, the Director of the Mission and Cultural Relations Department, Dr. Amar Riad Kassem highlighted the main achievements of the University at the scientific and structural levels since its establishment and highlighted the scientific cooperation notes it had held with local and foreign universities.
For her part, Dr. Clrain expressed her deep gratitude to the Presidency of the University of Diyala and confirmed her admiration for the scientific edifice that would establish a solid output and open up prospects for cooperation in the near future.
