A Master’s Thesis at the Faculty of Engineering Discusses the Stability of Small Hydraulic Enterprises Affected by Seismic Load
The Faculty of Engineering discussed the master's thesis of its student: Abdullah Saleh Nasif entitled (the stability of small hydraulic enterprises affected by seismic load).
The thesis aimed at analyzing and assessing the stability of the concrete dam, and to assess the impact of key factors affecting the dynamic behavior of the dam, such as the impact of different water levels, the effect of seismic frequency, and the impact of foundation hardness. The study included using the two-dimensions finite elements model using ANSYS to simulate the dam's response.
