Following Up With the Ministry Instructions, the University President Instructs the Faculties’ Deans to Intensify the Civil Defense Functions Procedures.

Under the guidance of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, represented by His Excellency Mr. Dr. Nabil Kazem Abdul Sahib, the President of the University of Diyala, Professor Dr. Abdel Monim Abbas Kerim, urges the deans of faculties to continue to follow up with the civil defense procedures to prevent any emergencies. The president addressed the deanships: "nowadays we are experiencing exceptional circumstances due to the high temperatures and the fluctuation of electricity, which is the main cause of the fires, circumstances that require utmost caution to avoid emergency incidents".  Emphasizing the importance of civil defense police tours, and providing them with safety requirements to ensure the safety of all. As a reaction, the faculties' deans conducted field visits to observe the Civil Defense and Night Guard protection procedures and emphasize the importance of rotating the corridors of buildings and raising the readiness to deal with an emergency, they also valued their efforts preserving public property. The Presidency of the University had earlier formed based on the guidance of His Excellency the Minister (Committee on Safety and Risk Management), who took on the task of following up civil defense work and dealing with emergencies.
