A Course of COVID-19 Post-Infection Side Effects was Held by the Faculty of Science

The Faculty of Science of the University of Diyala has held a course entitled (COVID-19 and Long Term Post – Infection Side Effects) in which Dr. Iman Abbas Ali, Dr. Lena Abdul Al Ameer Salman, and Ibtihal Hamid Mohsen attended.

The course illustrated the long-term side effects after COFID-19, such as fatigue and shortness of breath, problems with memory, concentration, joint pain, depression, and ear buzz, and what are the most important tests to be performed periodically when recovering from infection. The course included the most important guidance to be done to protect yourself and others from (COFID-19) and avoid indoor, overcrowded, or confusing spaces. The session addressed the most important vitamins that support immune function, and according to some data, vitamin D supplements may assist in the recovery process from COVID-19.
