The University President Attends The Ceremony of Drawing the Numbers of Parliamentary Elections Candidates.
Professor Dr. Abdul Monim Abbas Karim, The President of Diyala University, attended the drawing of the numbers of candidates for the parliamentary elections organized by the Independent High Electoral Commission in Diyala on Wednesday the 7th of July. During his attendance at this event, his Excellency said that the University of Diyala was eager to be present at this effective process, which established the norms of democratic practice in our beloved Iraq and governorate, being part of State institutions and an important segment of society.
It should be noted that, following yesterday's announcement by UNHCR Ratification of the lists of candidates for the next legislative elections, the drawing of electoral figures has taken place in all governorates of Iraq.
