A Panel Discussion about the Semantic Diversity in Holy Quran at the Faculty of Islamic Science

Faculty of Islamic Sciences of the University of Diyala held a panel discussion entitled (The semantic Diversity of the Holy Qur'an Surah Al-Boqra as an Example) presented by Assistant Lecturer Athraa Darri Dabaa. The panel aimed at explaining the significance of semantics in the interpretation of the Holy Quran, and the semantic and linguistic evolution of some vocabulary, and the effect of truth and metaphor in changing the vocabulary meaning. The discussion also showed that semantics is a prominent feature in the field of linguistic and other studies and that semantic development was reflected in Surah Al-Boqra frequently.
