The College of Law Discusses A Master Thesis Which Investigates the Political Freedoms and Legal Protection in Iraq
The College of Law and Political Science discussed earlier the student Sattar Kazem Jawad’s master thesis entitled (Legal Protection of Political Freedoms in Accordance with The Iraqi Legal System). The study investigated the difficulties faced by political regimes in general and Arabic political regimes in particular, including Iraq, those difficulties which represents a challenge of the existence and survival of the political regimes.
The study suggests that spreading political freedoms in Iraq is crucial because it has connection to other aspects which represent a concern for the ruling authorities and citizens at the same time. Moreover, these freedoms reflect a multi-level activity to raise awareness in society which has its ideological and philosophical bases and methods that are rooted in different political schools.
The findings conclude that political freedoms are the best and effective solution to overcame the difficulties, taking into consideration the existence of the basic rules through multilateral political dialogue and respect for all opinion.
