The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research honors a number of Diyala University faculty members.

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, honored several distinguished faculty members from the University of Diyala with the fifth edition of the Iraqi Al-Ain University Award for Academic Researcher. The honorees included Professor Anis Abdullah Kazim, Dean of the College of Engineering; Dr. Saad Shawkat Samin; Dr. Qusay Tawfiq Hassan; and Assistant Professor Zaid Hamid Mahmoud. The awards were presented during a formal ceremony held at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, attended by senior officials from the Ministry and leading figures from Iraqi universities.

In his remarks, Dr. Al-Aboudi affirmed the Ministry’s commitment to fostering a culture of research and innovation, emphasizing that this strategic direction has led the Ministry to initiate and support numerous programs and awards focused on scientific research. He noted the substantial achievements of the Ministry and its affiliated universities in enhancing their research impact, increasing their global publishing presence, and contributing actively to societal development by addressing pressing issues and challenges through scholarly engagement.
