On Sunday, April 13, 2025, Professor Amer Mohamed Ibrahim, Vice President for Scientific Affairs, held a meeting with the Director of the Electronic Computer Center, the Student Affairs Department, and the Information Technology Division at the University. The meeting aimed to initiate the implementation of a workshop organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on the use of the SAS and HR systems.
The discussion focused on the SAS system—a comprehensive student information management platform—covering key functionalities such as creating academic schedules and study programs, distributing curricula, student login procedures, and the development of an educational platform. Additional topics included the system’s capabilities in statistical analysis and data processing to support academic planning and decision-making. The meeting also addressed the HR system, an administrative platform designed for human resource management. It supports employee recruitment, delegation of authority, and fosters stronger communication between staff and administration. The system also plays a key role in skills development and performance enhancement, contributing to improved institutional efficiency.
