
The Director of the Electronic Computer Center has been honored with the Best Paper Award at the 5th International Research Forum held at the University of Sharjah
University of Sharjah launched the 5th Forum for Women in Research. The two-day event was organized by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Studies, with the support of NAMA Women Advancement as the Strategic Partner, Emirates Global Aluminium as the Industry Partner, and Khorfakkan University as the Academic Partner.
Director of the Electronic Computer Center, Assistant Professor Yasser Amer, and his collaborator, Assistant Professor Norzina Jamil, a faculty member at the United Arab Emirates University, were awarded the Best Paper in the field of computing at the 5th Forum for Women in Research at the University of Sharjah.
Assistant Professor Yasser Amer shared that their research proposal introduced a novel design for lightweight encryption aimed at advancing the future of secure quantum information security. He also noted that the research, presented by scholars from various countries, underwent a thorough evaluation by specialized committees to determine the winning paper.
