University President Reviews Groundbreaking Project for Diyala University City’s Sustainable Agricultural Investment.

On Wednesday, February 26, 2025, the President of the University, Prof. Tahseen Hussein Mubarak, conducted an inspection of the “University of Diyala City Company for Sustainable Agricultural Investment” project. He was accompanied by the University Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Amer Muhammad Ibrahim.

The project, which was introduced by the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, aims to advance sustainable agricultural practices and enhance the agricultural sector in Iraq through the integration of modern technologies and eco-friendly approaches.

Prof. Tahseen Hussein Mubarak emphasized that this initiative will significantly improve the quality of agricultural produce, boost productivity, and enhance livestock management. He further highlighted that the project will play a crucial role in achieving food security, creating new employment opportunities for students, and raising awareness within the local community about the importance of sustainable agriculture and environmental protection.
