The University of Diyala is ranked  12th in the Times Higher Education.

The University of Diyala appears in the Times Higher Education(THE) Ranking for 2024. It is ranked 12th among the Arab Universities, which is considered a new achievement for the University of Diyala.
Professor Tahseen Hussein Mubarak, President of Diyala University, stated, “I extend my congratulations to both the teaching and non-teaching members of our esteemed university for this remarkable scientific achievement. Our university has ranked twelfth out of 79 Iraqi universities within the range of (121-140), alongside the University of Sulaymaniyah, Al-Mustaqbal University, and Al-Qadisiyah University.” He commended the efforts of the faculty and researchers, whose contributions have significantly enhanced the university’s academic reputation. He urged everyone to sustain the momentum of these achievements to further elevate the university’s status and prestige.
